Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has hinted that she may be quitting the popular show.

The actress says that she wants to work in the big screen more as opposed to television.

She has already starred in two films � �The Sentinel� and �Harsh Times� but is now apparently keen to get more work.

The 31-year-old told the Western Mail that she�d like to play more �strong� women, adding: �I really want to do more films instead of TV and get the opportunity to meet people like Michael and Kiefer Sutherland.�

Longoria is currently filming the comedy �How I Met My Boyfriend�s Dead Fianc�e.�
