Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have apparently settled their money disputes in an attempt to avoid a vitriolic separation process.
The Newlyweds pair are set to split their assets with Lachey taking considerably less than the 50% he is due under Californian law.
According to TMZ the agreement means that he will get more than the $1.5 million Simpson offered him to walk away from the marriage.
Sources say that Jessica�s father Joe Simpson didn�t believe that Lachey would be up for a fight over the money but Nick stick to his guns.
Apparently Lachey wanted to end the dispute because he did not want anyone to be hurt during a lengthy court dispute.
The couple never actually signed a pre-nuptial agreement, we reckon Joe wishes they had now!
