Les Dennis is to make a surprise TV comeback hosting a new game show.

The former presenter who quit Family Fortunes five years ago after 16 years on the show, will host a Channel Five programme.

�Speculation� will be screened later in the year and is being made by the company behind Big Brother Endemol.

The 51-year-old said: �I said I�d only so another quiz show if the right one came along � and this is it.�

Since Les quit the show his life has gone through a turbulent time � he split from his wife Amanda Holden after she had an affair with Neil Morrissey, and the nation saw him break down on Celebrity Big Brother in 2002.

He later parodied himself in an episode of Ricky Gervais� hit comedy �Extras.�
