Government censors were originally planning to censor the raunchy advertisement in Tokyo subways by covering the photo from the waist down, fearing that it would be "too stimulating" for young subway riders.
Subway officials have now come to the conclusion that the risqu� pictures, shot by photographer Alexi Lubomirski were intended to portray an elated expectant mother and not to be sexually explicit.
"Our earlier request to cover the photo from the waist down was because of nudity, not because we had anything against pregnant women," said Metro spokesman Edakubo.
Britney is due to give birth next month, she already has one son Sean Preston who will be one in October and a rapper husband who is a bit of a baby.
