Sandi Thom collapsed yesterday apparently from exhaustion.

The chart conquering singer apparently collapsed just before she was to appear on Sky Television.

Her gruelling work schedule is believed to be to blame for her turn for the worse. She recently played the V Festival last weekend.

A spokesperson said: �Sandi has been working so hard to break America and the UK that her body literally couldn�t take any more punishment.

�The doctor has insisted she take a few days off at home with her guitar to recuperate. She will be fine after that, though.�
