Boy George Is A Changed Man

Boy George has revealed that his stint as a street cleaner in New York has changed his life.

The former Culture Club front man was ordered by a New York judge to sweep the streets for his community service after falsely reporting a burglary.

Speaking to the Sun, Boy George admitted: ?It?s been quite grounding, because I have no structure in my life. The media has this image of me as this big faggot sitting on cushions all day eating grapes.

?But I?m a real person ? I have a hoover, I don?t have a cleaner. So the idea I can?t pick up a broom and shovel is ridiculous.

?The hard work was good for me. You just get on with it.

?I think people didn?t expect me to actually work but that?s what I came here for. And it turned into a good experience.

?Some of the people I worked with were an absolute blast ? I loved them and we had a riot.

?I?d even volunteer to come back once a year to do a week cleaning if need be.?
