Boy George Promises Lavish Party For New York's Street Cleaners

Boy George is set to throw a huge party in New York for the bin men he worked alongside during his community service.

The Culture Club front man spent five days last week sweeping up the streets of the Big Apple as part of his punishment for falsely reporting a burglary at his flat.

According to Bang Showbiz he has now promised to host a lavish fund raising party for the city?s street cleaners as a thank you for the way they treated him.

On clocking off on his final day last week George announced: "I'm going to go off and have a huge
glass of champagne."
