Huge favourite Pete Bennett has won Big Brother 7 taking home the �100,000 and a guarantee of at least several months of fame.

Pete, 24 and from London, won a massive 61% of the vote as he beat Welsh lifeguard Glyn Wise into second place.

On hearing the news Pete jumped maniacally around the living area of the house in complete disbelief throwing the furniture around.

Aisleyne came in third while Richard was fourth while Pete�s beau Nikki came in fifth and Jennie sixth.

Pete left the house to a barrage of fireworks and crawled down the steps as he tried to shake hands with many of the waiting crowd.

After a few minutes of celebrating with the crowd he sat down with a interview with Davina McCall and told her the showed had saved his life.
