Front man of The Darkness, Justin Hawkins has been admitted to The Priory under the advice of his doctor.
Hawkins and his band were forced to pull out of a festival in Denmark last weekend after his doctor warned him to get complete rest.
His doctor left a statement on the bands website that read: �It is of paramount importance that he rests and recuperates over the next two weeks. I have advised him to cancel all work related activities.�
A source added to the Mirror: �Justin�s been feeling really low of late and he wanted to go somewhere he could clear his head.
�He�s been looking terrible at the moment. His skin�s taken on a yellowy pallor. The priory really is the best place for him.�
Ex-Darkness member Frankie Poullain accused Justin of using drugs while he was in the band, he said of his departure: �Unless you were in the druggy clique or the fawning circle of ass kissers, you�d find yourself persona non grata.�
And it gets worse�according to the Mirror, the band�s label, Warners, are considering dropping the band after their last single �Girlfriend� only reached number 39 in the charts.
Could this be the end of the Darkness?
