Son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Jack, has admitted he started abusing drugs because he was so insecure and felt so ugly.
Speaking recently, Jack admitted he first started dabbling with narcotics at the age of 12 to try and hide his feeling of isolation.
Jack attended rehab after his addiction to drink and drugs became out of control and he is now a happier, healthier man who loves taking part in extreme sports.
Speaking to Sunday Live magazine, Jack said: "I was this fat kid with big specs in Hollywood, where everyone is beautiful, and I'd dealt with that by making myself look like a teenage freak. I do know that inside me I wanted to be someone else."
"You could say I've swapped one addiction for another. But I am so much more in control. I'd rather be facing one of the most dangerous physical feats in the world than getting out of my head. I really was killing myself back then and it was all pointless."
Jack�s autobiography �21 Years Gone By: My Story� is released this October.
