Latin singer Shakira has managed to knock boy band McFly off the top of the UK singles chart with her single �Hips Don�t Lie�.

The collaboration with Wyclef Jean has already proved successful in the US and looks to do just as well in the UK after slowly climbing up the chart.

Christina Aguilera�s �Ain�t No Other Man� has also been a slow burner, rising this week from number 18 to number 2.

Madonna�s new single �Get Together� only managed to reach number 8 while Kasabian�s �Empire� entered the chart at number 10.
