The all new �Miami Vice� film has managed to knock �Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man�s Chest� from the top of the US box office.

�Miami Vice� starring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx made a massive $25.2 million during its first three days.

However, it�s not all doom and gloom in the �Pirates� camp; the film starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley has taken $663.9 million world wide and continues to be popular with cinema goers.

The big disappointment at the US box office this weekend has been the Tom Hanks produced animation �Ant Bully� that only managed to take $8.2 million.

Well, not every film is going to be a record breaker�.
