British comedian and transvestite, Eddie Izzard has panned John Travolta�s portrayal of a transvestite in the new film �Hairspray� before filming has even begun!

Travolta will be joining the cast of �Hairspray� as tranny Edna Turnblad but Izzard is less then impressed with the films casting.

According to ContactMusic, Izzard said: "He'll (Travolta) just be throwing on a dress. He won't be saying he's a transvestite.

"The most dangerous thing to do as a transvestite is to go out in the street wearing a dress... and buy a Mars Bar. That's the most radical thing."

Well, what does he expect him to do exactly?
