REM To Release Huge Anthology

REM are set to release a huge anthology of their days before they hit the big time and had a major label deal.

Entitled And I Feel Fine the album will chart the bands time spent on IRS Records and will feature a host of live pieces, rarities and unreleased numbers.

It will come in a single disc and double disc edition and is set for release at the end of the summer on September 11.

All the original members of the band were involved in the decision processes concerning the track listing.

Manager Bertis Downs told Billboard: "This is a good history lesson on the days of yore when the band first started out and were writing sometimes 2-3 songs a day, many of which became classics, and some of which were lost in the mists of tape and time and vault."
