David and Victoria Beckhams pre-World Cup party has caused a ruckus with their neighbours theyve complained to the council about the noise.
Four families have fired off angry missives to East Hertfordshire council about the lavish star-studded bash at Beckingham Palace, complaining that the bash took place just as their children were preparing for their crucial GCSE examinations.
One writes, I really wish the party had not taken place on a Sunday night, especially not that Sunday night.
Any other time this would have been fine - just not on Monday morning. Perhaps I'm a sad old lady but I also fail to see why it needed to go on until 3.30 am.
"I packed my daughter off to bed at 9.30 as her GCSEs began the next morning. It was two o'clock when we all woke to hear what sounded like Robbie Williams performing in our back garden.
Well, that would annoy anybody.
An official note adds, "Resident's son took first GCSE today and feels this is very unfair as was awake all night as was the rest of the family. Resident has spoken to neighbours who all feel party at this time was thoughtless."
Fortunately for the Beckhams though, the council are powerless to act because sound monitoring officers were not present.
Anyways, whilst Beckhams neighbours are complaining about their pre-World Cup party, the rest of the country is still complaining about the actual World Cup.
