Actor Chad Lowe is reportedly outraged by his estranged wife, Hilary Swank, after she divulged details of his personal life to a US magazine.
Swank revealed during an interview with Vanity Fair that Lowe had suffered from substance addiction, though she did not reveal what substance.
She also said that Lowe�s addiction had contributed to the break down of their marriage.
A source revealed to Breaking News, how Lowe felt after the interview: "Chad has been sober for three years. He isn't ashamed of his struggle, but he really wishes Hilary wouldn't have talked publicly now."
A family friend Bob Balaban added: "Whatever problem he might have had didn't affect his work."
Swank has denied she spoke out about Lowe personal problem in a bid to publicize her new films.
