A TV cameraman has claimed he slept with Princess Diana prior to her alleged affair with James Hewitt.
The cameraman Sebastian Rich has made the claims in a manuscript for an autobiography he is hoping to publish, reports The Sun.
Rich met Diana and Prince Charles while he was filming them for a documentary entitled �In Public, In Private�; filming lasted over two years as Rich followed the couple around the world as they attended numerous events.
In his potential book Rich claims that Diana initiated relations between then after becoming jealous of his affair with a courtier. He claims that he did sleep with the Princess but it was just a one off.
Rich has mentioned the rendezvous in another book, but there it was just mentioned in passing; in his new book �Through the Looking Glass� his romantic relationship with Diana will take up around 5 pages.
It is not thought that Rich will go into any great detail for fear of upsetting the royal family, but he believes that the truth should now come out�so he can profit from it.
Last night Clarence House said the claims were �untrue� and also commented that they would be extremely hurtful for Prince�s William and Harry.
