Russell Crowe�s wife Danielle Spencer had given birth to the couple second son.

Their new baby boy, named weighed in at eight pounds at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital last Friday according to Crowe�s manager, Grant Vandenberg.

Vandenburg said: "Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well,"

Crowe himself said to an Australian radio station: "Charlie has a brother,"

"Dani is great, mate, everybody is fine. The family is over there giving her big kisses and stuff. I am just going home to pick up Charlie to take him over to meet his new baby."

Crowe and Spencer�s first son, Charlie will be three in December.
