Shamed crack head and Coronation Street actor, Craig Charles has vowed to get his life back on track after a British tabloid exposed his addiction.

Charles was pictured taking hit after hit of crack cocaine from a make shift pipe while driving from London to Manchester while enjoying a several different porn magazines.

After being suspended from his BBC 6Music radio funk show and Coronation Street Charles had crisis talks with his wife Jackie who is said to be standing by him during this messy time.

According to the Mirror, Charles told friends: �I�ll do anything to get my life back on track.�

It is believed that while his Corrie storylines are on hold he will go into rehab to try and kick his drug addictions once and for all.

A source said of Charles: �He feels he�s let so many people down. He�s made no secret of his willingness to explore any avenue that will enable him to keep his job at Coronation Street.

�It�s a job he absolutely loves and he realises that if he is to be kept on he has a lot of work to do to make sure he gets himself better. A spell in rehab is on the cards.�
