Mel C has reiterated she wont sully the musical heritage of the Spice Girls by cashing in on a reunion tour.
Sporty Spice admits she had a very difficult decision to make last year after being approached by the other four Spice Girls, who all wanted to reform the formerly all-conquering girl band.
Mel C had previously refused to consider a reunion tour because she didnt want to jeopardise her new position as the only Spice Girl to forge a moderately successful solo career.
However, having seen that disappeared down the dumper following an underwhelming second album, Mel C now says shes more concerned with preserving peoples fond memories of the Wannabe girls.
She tells The People, I'd rather be remembered for how we were than spoil it with a reunion.
I haven't changed my mind. I was approached earlier in the year and took a long time thinking about it. My heart and head said no. It's not something I want to do. That has not changed."
