In a bid to prove that they are patriotic as the next country all girl band, The Dixie Chicks are hoping to be asked to play in Iraq for US forces.
The Chicks came under fire in 2003 after they dissed dumb ass President George W Bush for sending troops to Iraq.
They are now hoping to redeem themselves by performing for the troops.
According to BreakingNews, lead singer Natalie Maines said: "I used to think they wouldn't want us to come (and perform) and I'd be embarrassed because I would think that they believed the rhetoric or whatever that we didn't support them.
"I realise it wouldn't be like that and it would be great."
Another Chick Emily Robison agreed saying: "If people wanted us to go, we'd gladly go."
