Does Geri Halliwell's Baby Daughter Need A Father?

The step-grandmother of Geri Halliwell�s new baby girl, Bluebell Madonna has said that her granddaughter needs a father.

The step mum of Halliwell�s ex-boyfriend, screenwriter Sacha Gervasi, Heather Cottin has publicly begged the ex-Spice Girl to acknowledge her son as Bluebell�s father.

Cottin told the Mirror: �He should be treated fairly, he�s desperate to be a dad. Sacha has a big heart and wants to take his share of responsibility for the child.

�It would be terrible if Bluebell was to grow up without a father. She needs a dad in her life.�

�I thought people were making up all this stuff about Geri refusing to let Sacha see the baby. But I spoke to Sacha and he said �No, it�s not a rumour�. I asked him how he felt , and he said �I�m trying�. He was trying to be a father.

�It�s quite sad. You think of these people (Geri) as humans but you don�t know them. You get the feeling they just love the attention.�

Geri and Sacha split after a fling that lasted just a few months. When she announced she was pregnant Geri revealed she planned to raise the baby by herself. However, it is thought that she may allow Sacha to visit his daughter later this week.
