Morrissey has landed himself in further controversy by warning an animal testing laboratory at Oxford University �we will get you.�
Staunch vegetarian Morrissey is strongly against animal testing and recently landed himself in hot water saying that violence is the only language lab scientists understand.
Onstage at Oxford�s New Theatre, Mozza branded Oxford the �shame of England� for allowing the lab to be built.
He told the audience; �If you agree with vivisection, go and be vivisected upon yourself.�
Morrissey personally invited animal rights campaigners Speak to hold a stall at the venue.
However a Speak spokesperson said that Morrissey was not inciting violence with his fresh comment.
They said: �We need to talk about the violence being committed upon animals. I applaud the fact that Morrissey has been brave enough to stand up and say what he thinks.�
As the Metro quoted, they added: �I suspect when he said �we will get you� he wasn�t talking about violence at all, but exposing these people for what they do.�
