The Whos Pete Townshend has paid homage to acts from the Sixties saying they still inspire him.
The legendary guitarist is full of praise for his contemporaries in what he calls an extraordinary generation.
He said: "Ray Davies (inspires me) for his storytelling. Paul McCartney for his energy and self-confidence. Mick Jagger for his ability to work with so many loveable nutters. Bob Dylan for his new moustache.
"My generation was extraordinary. All of 'em," quotes contactmusic.
