The female star of �The Da Vinci Code, French actress Audrey Tautou is planning on quitting acting to escape the lime light she so dislikes.
Tautou first won international acclaim after her performance in �Amelie�, however, according to FemaleFirst, all the attention is getting to the young starlet and she fancies escaping it all.
She said: "I used to think I would retire from films at 40, then it was 30. Maybe I would like to do something more private and discreet with my life."
"For me, acting was a bit of a lazy activity. I never said I wanted to be an actress. I gave myself one year and if, at the end of that time, I hadn't done what I wanted, I would do something else."
It will be hard for her to escape the lime light after Friday�s release on �The Da Vinci Code� and it she would leave a huge Audrey shaped hole in the French film industry.
