Matt LeBlanc's Sitcom 'Joey' Is Axed

The US TV sitcom �Joey� has been axed by NBC after the network finally realised that popularity of �Friends� was not going to be recaptured with a shoddy spin off.

Matt LeBlanc starred in the sitcom based in Hollywood after his character moved there from New York to boost his acting career.

The BBC reports that the series was put on hold in March after ratings fell�I guess we will never find out if Joey made it in Hollywood or not�it�s a tough town.
