Red Hot Chili Peppers Storm To Number One

Red Hot Chili Peppers have stormed to the top of the album charts with the double LP �Stadium Arcadium.�

The album knocked off Snow Patrol�s �Eyes Open� which kept Dirty Pretty Things� �Waterloo to Anywhere� at three.

Elsewhere, in the singles chart, Gnarls Barkley have amazingly held on to the top spot for a seventh week.

Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo Green trounced LL Cool J and Jennifer Lopez�s �Control Myself� in second place.

Other new entries were Pet Shop Boys at eight with �I�m With Stupid�, Boy Kill Boy�s �Suzie� at 17, Graham Coxon at 39 and Hot Chip at 40.
