West�s company Konman Entertainment leased the vehicle in September 2002, after West confirmed an agreement of 39 consecutive monthly payments of $1,295. Konman failed, however, to return the vehicle as scheduled in January, leaving DCFS Trust no choice but to file the elusive lawsuit.
The situation was not made any better by the inability to contact Konman due to their unlisted number. Although messages were left for West�s publicist, they were tardily returned!
DCFS Trust have refused to comment on the West�s circumstances with them, though their attorney Rebecca Caley has said �Our client does not address ongoing litigation��
