Film Version Of 'Knight Rider' To Be Made

The TV show that made David The Hoff Hasslehoff a star, Knight Rider is being made into a film for the big screen.

Harvey and Bob Weinstein have bought the film rights for the project from Knight Rider creator Glen A. Larson.

The two brothers will be producing the film through their Weinstein Co.

It is thought that the film will tell the original Knight Rider story; Michael Knight, a cop who is shot in the line of duty is nursed back to health by a faceless millionaire.

He is given a new face and identity and drives around in a super flash, intelligent car seeking revenge on the criminals that shot him.

It is as yet unknown who will play the part of Michael Knight, or whether The Hoff will make an appearancehe has to surely?
