Heavily pregnant actress Angelina Jolie has revealed she thinks Gordon Brown would make a great Prime Minister, should Tony Blair step down.
The actress has been working with Brown who is committed to a project to ensure every child in the world gets to go to school.
Jolie was peaking during a press conference in Africa to publicise the Global Campaign for Education to meet the Millennium Development Goal of getting every child into school by 2015, when she was asked if Brown would make a good Prime Minister.
According to MSN, she replied: "He (Mr Brown) is somebody that I like very much and I hope he does have the chance to do more and more good things. I think he certainly will if he has the chance, so yes, personally, I would like to see it."
Mr Brown returned the compliment by saying Jolie had shown "inspirational leadership".
Jolie and Brad Pitt are currently in Namibia awaiting the birth of their child.
