Red Hot Chili Peppers have been confirmed as headliners of New Orleans bash the Voodoo Music Experience.

The band will play on the weekend of October 28-29 with more acts set to be announced very soon, reports billboard.

It follows last year�s event which followed Hurricane Katrina and featured performances from Nine Inch Nails, The Bravery and Queens of the Stone Age.

Red Hot Chili Peppers release new single �Dani California� on May 1, with the album �Stadium Arcadium� following a week later.
