Michelle Rodriguez, star of the hit TV series ?Lost? has been sentenced to five days in prison for drink driving.

Rodriguez who plays police officer Ana Lucia on the show opted for the jail time and a $500 fine rather then 240 hours of community service.

According to MSN, Rodriguez said outside the courtroom: "I kind of have to get back to my life, go back to making some money,"

"It kind of gave me a hard hit. ... I'm human.?

Well, duh...what did she think she was exactly??

Her lawyer, Steve Barta said of his client?s decision: "I would suspect that because she has a hard time even going out for a meal without being intruded upon for an autograph or photograph, it's really difficult for her to do community service."

After being caught drink driving Rodriguez sent two weeks in rehab in a bid to battle her drink problems, Barta added: "She did recognise there was an issue to be dealt with. She, on her own, took care of it."

Well, I reckon the run in with the police may have nudged her into rehab?
