Top notch British actor Ian McKellen has turned down deals to write his own autobiography as he feels it would be pointless without writing about his death.
McKellan, who played Gandalf in Pete Jacksons film trilogy Lord of the Rings feels that without his death and autobiography would be incomplete.
He said to Empire magazine: "I'll never put my memoirs in print. What's upsetting about an autobiography is that the final chapter is always missing. I mean, you want the death, don't you?
"There's more on that site than there could ever be in a book. Eventually, before I die, I hope to have written about every part I've played."
What a guysuch a refreshing change from people without any talent who have already multiple books about themselves.
