Pete Doherty was arrested for suspected drug dealing just hours after appearing in court yesterday (April 20).
The much troubled Babyshambles singer was questioned by police and spent the night behind bars after being pulled over in a car allegedly with Class A drugs in tow.
A 21-year-old who was driving the vehicle was also detained by police alongside Doherty.
A met spokesperson said: They were arrested on suspicion of possessing what was believed to be class A drugs with the intent to supply.
Just three hours earlier in court, Doherty had been handed a two year community supervision order and ordered to attend an 18 month rehabilitation scheme.
He had admitted to seven charges of possessing crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and cannabis resin.
Judge Jane McIvor warned him yesterday that he would face prison if he breached his order.
Surely things are now looking ominous for Mr Doherty.
