Dirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Barat has revealed he would still work with his old friend and former Libertine Pete Doherty again.

Doherty was kicked out of The Libertines over his drug use and erratic behaviour leaving Barat devastated.

Barat has once again said that he would work with Doherty again but only if he totally sorts out his drug problems.

According to BreakingNews, Barat said: "It devastated me. (Pete) was a shadow of the man.

"It would have killed me if I didn't have the support around me. The Libertines was my everything and my world fell apart.

"It's just sad and I wish he would sort it out. I would really like to work with him again some day.

By then, it will probably be too late for dirty Doherty�
