The Raconteurs Forced To Change Their Name

The Raconteurs have been forced to change their name in Australia because the moniker has already been taken by another band.

The four piece featuring Jack White and Brendan Benson will now be known as The Saboteurs to avoid confusion with a virtually unknown jazz band.

A statement from the band says: "The Raconteurs name was already taken by a jazz band, to make things easier, and in the spirit of espionage and subversion, we have decided to become The Saboteurs in Australia only."

The Raconteurs release their debut album �Broken Boy Soldier� on May 15.
