The Hateful Eight is already one of the most talked about movie productions of the year, thanks to that script leak, but Quentin Tarantino's next blood-fest just got a whole lot more interesting thanks to an incredible casting rumour.
Anticipation for Tarantino's new movie stepped up a gear this week, as it was announced the first trailer will premiere alongside screenings of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which hits cinemas this weekend.
But with the movie set to start shooting early next year, we still don't have a confirmed cast list. The director hosted a table read of the script back in April, with his long-time collaborators, Samuel L Jackson and Kurt Russell playing a pair of duelling bounty hunters while Reservoir Dogs' Matthew Madsen read the part of a cowboy.

It's not clear though if the actors will keep to these parts for the actual movie, and now there's been a huge new casting rumour. Is Jennifer Lawrence in talks to join the film?
Collider claim to have the inside scoop, writing: "We can say that Lawrence is in talks to join the film, and this is not a “wish-list” thing where she’s one of many actresses being considered for a role."
As the report points out though, JLaw's possible casting raises some questions. The first trailer was leaked online last night, although it has since disappeared, and according to the cast list there is only one female character in the 'Hateful Eight', Daisy Domergue, “The Prisoner”.
Amber Tamblyn read the role of Daisy during the live-read of the script, but could JLaw be in line for the role in the movie? We know that Tarantino added to his screenplay after the table read, so the part could have changed drastically, or he could have penned a new part for Jen.

While the cast is still up in the air, we do know a bit about the story, with the table read revealing that "The Hateful Eight follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere."
The leaked trailer hasn't given much away though, featuring no actual footage, instead focusing on a snow dune landscape as Iggy Pop & The Stooges' Gimme Danger plays over titles about strangers being stranded in a blizzard, which read: “They soon discovered they shared a deadly connection”
The Eight are listed as: "Major Marquis Warren: The Bounty Hunter, John Ruth: The Hangman, Daisy Domergue: The Prisoner, Chris Mannix: The Sheriff, Bob: The Mexican, Oswald Mobray: The Little Man, Joe Gage: The Cow Puncher and General Sandy Smithers: The Confederate."
