�American Idol� judge Paula Abdul has filed a formal complaint against a man who she claims attacked her at a private party in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Abdul filed a report at the Hollywood police station saying she had been the victim of battery after an argument with a man she knew.
Lt Paul Vernon, said to MSN: "According to Abdul, the man at the party argued with her, grabbed her by the arm and threw her against a wall.
"She said she had sustained a concussion and spinal injuries.�
�She saw her own doctor and at the time of the report said she would make herself available for photographs (of her injuries).�
Abdul�s publicist Michelle Bega has declined to make any comment as of yet. The former pop star recently signed a new deal to stay with �American Idol� for three years.
