Gay cowboy film, �Brokeback Mountain� has won the top prize from a gay organization that monitors the media.
The gay and lesbian alliance against defamation in New York presented the award yesterday in recognition of the mainstream media�s �fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community�, reports BreakingNews.
At the ceremony Oprah Winfrey was also honoured and Melissa Etheridge.
