Dixie Chicks Hit Back At Bush Critics

The Dixie Chicks have hit back at critics of their Anti-Bush comments in their new song.

The country stars whipped up a storm of controversy in 2003 when they criticised President Bush�s invasion of Iraq � receiving death threats and having their music boycotted and dropped from playlists all over America.

However, the Chicks are unrepentant about their comments � and slam their critics in new single Not Ready To Make Nice.

Emily Robison explains, �We knew the song was special because it was so autobiographical. The stakes were definitely higher on that song. And once we had that song done, it freed us up to do the rest of the album without that burden."
