Britney Spears� hubby Kevin Federline has proved he has a kind and generous side by shaving off his hair for charity.

According to the Daily Star, Federline has given his hair to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer.

However a source told the tabloid that the wannabe rap star is hoping that his gift of hair to the Locks of Love charity will help promote his forthcoming album.

The source allegedly said: "He supports the cause and hopes it will help promote his new album."
