Aussie actor Russell Crowe was left gutted after Sesame Street producers rejected his offer to appear on the show as they don�t think he is a very good role model for kids.

The hotel clerk abusing Crowe does have a reputation for having a bit of a fiery temper�but surely they could work that into his slot?

The Streets executive producer Carol-Lynne Parente did not totally dismiss Crowe�s chances of ever being on the show, according to ContactMusic she said: "He may not be the best role model for kids.

"Although I'm sure our writers could come up with a nice piece about dealing with emotions - healthy ways to deal with emotions."

However, their in one person who would be perfect for the show: "We would love to have Nicole Kidman on."
