New Order Win World Cup Songs Poll

New Orders World In Motion has been voted the best World Cup song ever by football fans in a new poll.

The poll of 1500 people by Littlewoods Pools put the track ahead of Pavarottis rendition of Nessum Dorma; both were recorded for Italia 90.

The 1998 version of Three Lions by The Lightening Seeds plus comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner came third while Vindaloo by Fat Les aka Keith Allen was fourth.

At the other end of the scale the England squads This Time (Well Get It Right) from 1982 was voted the worst World Cup anthem.

The atrociously bad (How Does It Feel To Be) On Top Of The World by Ian McCulloch and featuring Mel C of the Spice Girls came second.
