Coldplay have invited fans to shoot their new concert film at their Toronto gigs on March 22-23.
Chris Martin and co. were so awed at the Beastie Boys� Awesome: I Fuckin� Shot That, which was filmed by five fans in the audience at one of their shows � that they are now planning to do the same.
The band are launching a contest to find five fans to undertake the same responsibility; the competition launches on Monday on Entertainment Tonight Canada, and the winner will bag a digital video camera with which to film the March 22 show.
The footage will then be eligible for inclusion on the Coldplay DVD, The Toronto Star reveal today.
