Harry Styles has insisted that One Direction aren't on the verge of splitting up but he'll only fuel rumours once fans learn that he has written a song with US soul singer John Legend, which X Factor contestants Alex and Sierra have described as “beautiful” after hearing the track when selecting songs for their debut album.
One Direction are known for getting involved in the writing sessions for their albums but Harry, 19, is said to have penned almost 20 tracks on his own reportedly unrelated to the boy band.

According to The Mirror, Alex and Sierra, who appeared in the last season of X Factor USA, were offered the ballad for their upcoming debut album and it seems they have fallen in love with the song while amazed by Harry's writing talents.
“Our favourite [song] is one that Harry Styles wrote with John Legend, it's beautiful and lovely,” Sierra told the publication.
“[Harry] is actually an amazing writer, he's pitched us a few other good ones and they're really good.”

A source seemed to confirm Harry teamed up with John Legend, chiming in: “It’s a testament to Harry’s talents that he can work alongside John - who is, without doubt, one of the most gifted songwriters of a generation.”
Lyrics on the Harry/Legend collaboration reportedly include: “I saw your face, I heard your name / Felt the blood rushing through my veins / I still remember / How could I forget?”
The Mirror also claims that the curly-haired cutie is credited for 26 songs on the database of American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers although 18 are unheard.
According to the database, Harry has worked with US indie band Augustana on tracks including 'I Just Wanna Be Your Man,' 'One Desire' and 'Kiss It Better.'

A source reportedly insists that it doesn't mean Harry will be leaving the band and going solo which will no doubt be music to Directioners' ears following mounting claims that there is a rift between the band.
Harry was forced to respond to the rumours and deny they're breaking up, telling The Sun: “We're not breaking up. We've spent every day together for months and I forgot what my mum looked like. It's just holidays."
“I miss the boys but if you don't see your family you would go mad,” he continued to explain. “We don't want to be on The Big Reunion next year. We don't want to be on The Big Reunion ever. Well, maybe in 2050.”
