Brazilian movie director Jose Padilha has revealed his interest in releasing an Indian remake of Robocop.
The director, who has just released a remake of the iconic 80s movie this week, has said that he would be keen for a Bollywood version of the movie but is not sure whether it would do well at the box office.

When asked about putting together a Bollywood remake of Robocop, Padilha laughed and said, according to the Hindustan Times: "I would, of course, love to make an Indian remake. And I would be completely ok with a Bollywood adaptation, but I am not sure if other people (the audience) there would want it."
The latest Hollywood version of Robocop stars Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Joel Kinnaman and Abbie Cornish.
In the latest flick, which is a reboot of the 1987 cult classic, it tells the story of Alex Murphy in 2028 Detroit, who has been critically injured in the line of duty as a good police officer. He's then given a second chance as a part-robot, part human police officer.
