Sandra Bullock Gives Tearful Tribute To ‘Kind’ Jay Leno Ahead Of Final Show (WATCH)

Warning, it’s emotional!

Sandra Bullock may come across as tough as nails but the actress couldn’t help but lose her composure during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this week when she became teary while tributing the talk show host ahead of his final ever episode.

Leno, 63, will be bowing out this evening after 22 years of fronting the late night NBC show so it was only right that he was paid a visit by Gravity actress Sandra, 49, who has made several guest appearances throughout the years and is clearly a dear friend of the host.

Evidently overcome with emotion and speaking through teary eyes, Sandra proceeded to give a sweet speech to Leno, saying: “You've always been so kind. That's saying a lot in this business, because we like to be mean.

“There's not been one time you haven't treated me like I had something to offer – even when the film was awful and you knew it, you never let me see it in your eyes.”

She continued: “When I made crazy life decisions you never questioned, you were always so welcoming and every single person on your crew was that way consistently and I just felt special even when I felt very insecure and everyone I think in this room and in this country has felt that way everyday that you’ve been in their home and I’m just so grateful that I got to be a part of this.”

Although he was touched by Sandra’s lovely words, Leno couldn’t bow out without mocking the star’s often questionable hair do’s, playing a montage of clips from her guest appearances, each time sporting a different look from long crimped brunette locks, to short and shaggy bobs, leaving the audience in fits of laughter.

Leno’s last episode will air tonight and he will be replaced by Jimmy Fallon from February 17.
