The twosome met up in Australia where Coyle is there promoting her new album �Chemistry� and where Metcalfe was attending a �Desperate and Dateless� ball in Sydney.
After meeting by chance the couple hooked up for a dinner date, an onlooker said of their date: "Fans were going up to Jesse and Nadine asking for photos and autographs of the pair of them.
"Although they were accommodating, it was obvious they only had eyes for each other. They looked absolutely smitten."
A friend of Metcalf�s added: "He was immediately taken with Nadine when he saw her. She's a very pretty girl and he also loved her Irish accent.
"They went on a date on Friday and got on brilliantly. There is an incredible chemistry between them and they're already planning their next date."
Coyle may have had her eye on the sexy gardener from the hit TV show for a while�according to Ananova she said in an interview last year: "I'm definitely not looking for a relationship, but if the gardener from Desperate Housewives were to ask me out, I wouldn't say no."
