The star-studded line-up for this year's Grammy awards has just gotten even better with both Beyonce and Jay Z confirmed to perform at the ceremony following days of mounting speculation.
A commercial for the awards ceremony, which takes place on Sunday at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, aired in the US last night and appeared to confirm what fans had been hoping for – that the hip-hop power couple will be joining the likes of Katy Perry, Lorde, Taylor Swift, Daft Punk and Kendrick Lamar on the bill.

According to E! News, the advert which was shown on CBS listed Beyonce and Jay Z as performers but it's not yet known if they will hit the stage together, but if they do, perhaps they'll perform their latest collaboration 'Drunk In Love' which features on Beyonce's new album.
Either way, it's set to be a huge night for Jay Z who has been nominated for a whopping nine Grammys this year including Best Rap Album for Magna Carta Holy Grail and two Best Music Video nods for 'Picasso Baby' and 'Suit & Tie' which features Justin Timberlake.
Also rumoured to be performing during the ceremony is Madonna although she is yet to be confirmed.

The couple brought along their adorable two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy who appeared to strike up a cute bond with the First Family's pet dog Bo, with photos posted on Beyonce's Tumblr showing the toddler playing with the pooch in the White House.
