Ariana Grande addressed her hair-haters on Instagram after they continued to criticize her repeated hairstyle.
“I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the 4 years of playing Cat… as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair,” said Ariana, who plays Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat. She reprised the role from Victorious that ran for four seasons on the children’s network.

The actress/singer now wears a wig on the show but she’s still waiting for her natural hair to grow back. Until then, she pulls her hair back into a ponytail and uses extensions to fill out her ‘do.
“My actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down,” Ariana said.
The Baby I singer has used every hair trick to cover up her dreadful locks but they’ve proven even more uncomfortable.
“I tried wigs, they looked RIDICULOUS,” she wrote. “Tried a weave because I’m working on a new project and want to try some different looks and literally wanted to rip my scalp off.”
She may have to “wear more fake hair than every drag queen on earth combined” but she’s finally final a style that’s brought her the most comfort.
And if you don’t like it, then “just don’t look at [her]”. That's Ariana's simple solution.
